  • More than 20 Hindu and Muslim youths are collaborating in Sadar Bazar to assemble the 10×12-foot Operation Sindoor Kanwar.
  • Led by youth organizer Gaurav, the initiative transforms the traditional Sawan pilgrimage into a symbol of national unity and communal harmony.
  • The structure features replicas of Bharat Mata, a Rafale fighter jet, an army tank, and models of Hindu temples to highlight India’s defense and cultural heritage.
  • The group will set out for Haridwar on July 15, collect Gangajal the following day, and return to Meerut for the ritual offering.
  • The project has received support from local figures such as Imam Shah Nawaz Jamali and is dedicated to the 26 victims of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
