Overview

  • Inter Milan and AC Milan have rejected renewal requests for hundreds of ultras designated as “non graditi” under newly signed ethical codes.
  • The clubs based their blacklist on past Daspo bans, administrative sanctions and involvement in violent incidents exposed by the Doppia curva probe.
  • Curva season tickets are now non-transferable to prevent banned supporters from obtaining access through resale.
  • A facial recognition system approved by the Italian Data Protection Authority is set to go live at San Siro turnstiles when the season begins.
  • The measures follow a Milan DDA investigation that uncovered mafia-linked extortion and racketeering in stadium parking and led to arrests and convictions of up to ten years.
