IntelLat 2025 Ranking Puts Buenos Aires’ Hospital Italiano at No. 4 in Latin America, Top in Argentina

Overview

  • The consultancy evaluated 80 high-complexity hospitals across nine countries in its Latin America benchmarking.
  • Overall leaders were Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (97.30) and Hospital Sírio-Libanês (81.04), followed by Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá.
  • Additional Argentine institutions in the 80-hospital list were Instituto de Cardiología de Corrientes (47th, 48.55), Sanatorio Otamendi (53rd, 46.26) and Sanatorio Güemes (68th, 42.66).
  • In the new specialty tables, Sanatorio Otamendi ranked 20th in cardiology (50.21) and 11th in gynecology and obstetrics (51.15).
  • In the Safety and Clinical Outcomes dimension, Hospital Italiano placed 10th (79.6) with Otamendi 61st (46.3), Güemes 62nd (45.9) and Corrientes 75th (38.8).
