Intel Expands CPU Lineup with Bartlett Lake-S and Arrow Lake Processors

Intel is set to diversify its processor offerings with the introduction of Bartlett Lake-S budget CPUs and the next-gen Arrow Lake processors, targeting different market segments.

Intel is reportedly working on Bartlett Lake-S, a budget CPU lineup for desktops and notebooks, designed for the LGA 1700 platform.
Arrow Lake processors, expected to debut towards the end of 2024, will replace the Raptor Lake Refresh lineup and introduce significant architectural changes.
Bartlett Lake-S is rumored to offer higher caches and small IPC improvements over Raptor Lake Refresh, providing a cost-effective upgrade path for Alder Lake users.
Arrow Lake will feature a new LGA 1851 socket design, necessitating new motherboards but maintaining cooler compatibility, and will drop Hyperthreading for improved core performance.
Intel's future processors, including Panther Lake expected in 2025, will focus on AI performance improvements and architectural innovations, with Arrow Lake built on the Intel 20A process node.
