• On July 17, the ‘Viví la Ciencia’ expo opened in Plaza Belgrano in San Salvador de Jujuy featuring more than ten interactive stands
• The free, drop-in event let visitors explore demonstrations of appropriate agricultural technologies, regional products, educational games and Andean crop machinery
• Researchers from INTA’s Yuto station, extension agencies, local producers, rural schools and partners including INTI, universities and CONICET staffed the exhibits
• The program is part of winter break activities designed to connect rural and urban communities with INTA’s research and innovation
• The event unveiled a presidential decree published last week that formally restructures INTA into a non-autonomous body under national research governance reforms
