Instamart drops Swiggy name, unveils blue brand identity

The service completed a full rollout of its standalone branding to cement its position in India’s fast-growing quick commerce market.

  • Instamart has removed “Swiggy” from its name and introduced a new logo with a primary blue color chosen to symbolize reliability, speed and trust.
  • The updated branding retains Swiggy’s orange “S-Pin” icon as a tribute to its origins and will appear across the standalone and integrated apps, delivery packaging, bags and marketing.
  • Since launching five years ago, Instamart now offers over 35,000 products to millions of customers each month in more than 120 cities through both its original integration and a dedicated app.
  • The rebrand underscores Instamart’s push to distinguish itself from Swiggy’s core food-delivery business as it aims to surpass that vertical in scale and penetration.
  • Though adopting a separate identity and expanding its network of larger “megapod” dark stores, Instamart remains fully owned by Swiggy as it accelerates its quick-commerce growth strategy.
