INSS Sets September BPC Payments and Weekend Mutirões to Speed Decisions

Overview

• September deposits begin on September 24 and follow a staggered calendar based on the penultimate digit of the NB number.
• In Rio de Janeiro, mutirões on September 27–28 will offer 700 appointments across agencies including Praça da Bandeira, Avenida Brasil, Queimados, Ramos, Duque de Caxias, Araruama, Cabo Frio and Angra dos Reis.
• Montes Claros will run a mutirão on the same weekend with a team of six INSS social workers and seven federal medical examiners to accelerate analyses.
• Appointments must be scheduled via the Meu INSS app or site or by calling Central 135, which operates Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• If vacancies remain, INSS may call applicants to offer earlier slots and will only confirm scheduling details by phone without requesting documents, photos or passwords.
