INSS CPI Questions Igor Dias Delecrode Over Alleged R$700 Million Deduction Scheme

The session follows preventive-detention requests approved after earlier arrests.

Overview

  • Lawmakers are taking Igor Dias Delecrode’s testimony on Monday as part of the probe into unauthorized INSS benefit deductions linked to the Federal Police’s Operação Sem Desconto.
  • Committee records describe him as a connector among AASAP, Amar Brasil, Master Prev and ANDAPP, which are suspected of moving about R$700 million in charges taken without retirees’ authorization.
  • Deputies seek details on shared administrative services, technology, biometrics and possible commingled accounting, as well as coordination with Felipe Macedo Gomes, Anderson Cordeiro and Américo Monte.
  • The commission recently approved preventive-detention requests for five suspects and has ordered three arrests in flagrante, including Abraão Lincoln Ferreira da Cruz for false testimony.
  • Members also approved a confrontation between Antônio Carlos Camilo Antunes, known as Careca do INSS, and lawyer Eli Cohen to address discrepancies in prior statements.
