Overview

• On June 11, 2025, Cheshire Coroner’s Court opened brief hearings for Owen Jenner and Shane Richardson and adjourned full inquests until January 13, 2026.
• The collision took place at the first corner of the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship race, forcing officials to abandon the event as 11 riders fell.
• Jenner, 21, suffered a catastrophic head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene, while Richardson, 29, died later of severe chest injuries en route to hospital.
• Tom Tunstall sustained a broken bone in his neck and five other riders received minor treatment at the track medical centre without needing hospital admission.
• Cheshire Constabulary is investigating the crash in collaboration with MotorSport Vision Racing and the Motorcycle Circuit Racing Control Board.
