Inquest Opens Into Death of Spennymoor Mother Killed in A66 HGV Collision

A post-mortem identified head and chest injuries as the cause of death, with police supporting her family.

  • Chloe Lightfoot, 33, died after her Citroen Berlingo collided with a HGV just after 8am on August 26 near the Rutherford Lane/Cross Lanes junction on the A66 by Barnard Castle.
