- At Lima’s Ancón II prison, staff intercepted Violeta Rosas Farfán with a wireless earbud case and stopped Saida Peñaloza Paniagua for concealing black earphones in her intimate area.
- Prison authorities reported the cases to the Ministerio Público and the Policía Nacional, and in the Ancón II incident they also notified Depincri Puente Piedra to carry out the proceedings.
