Inox Wind Secures 229 MW in New Orders From Indian IPP and Global Clean-Energy Player

The deals bundle 3.3 MW turbines with limited-scope EPC plus multi-year O&M to support a push to close FY26 with an 18–24 month execution backlog.

Overview

  • A 160 MW award from a leading Indian independent power producer includes 112 MW firm with an option for an additional 48 MW across multiple sites.
  • A repeat 69 MW order from a unit of a large global clean-energy company will be executed in Maharashtra and follows a 153 MW contract placed in March 2025.
  • Both contracts include limited-scope engineering, procurement and construction services along with multi-year operations and maintenance after commissioning.
  • Management says discussions are advanced with other customers, targeting a FY26 net order book that covers 18–24 months of planned execution.
  • Inox Wind cites four Indian manufacturing plants with roughly 2.5 GW annual capacity and an O&M arm reported to manage about 13 GW of assets.
