INMET Extends Multi‑State Rain and Wind Alerts Through Sunday as Flooding Hits Cities

Warnings remain in effect through Sunday with civil defense mobilized for flooding, wind damage, power risks.

  • Confirmed impacts include 59.8 mm of rain and urban flooding in Petrolina (PE), flooding and fallen trees in Montes Claros and Uberlândia (MG), and a house collapse that left 10 people displaced in Medeiros Neto (BA).
