Inka Bause Celebrates 40 Years on Stage with New Album and Upcoming Tour

Inka Bause's career began at age 16 in the DDR with her debut song 'Spielverderber,' performed in a creatively improvised jumpsuit due to material shortages.
As the daughter of Arndt Bause, a celebrated DDR schlager composer, her musical roots were deeply influenced by her family legacy.
Her signature 'Inka-Frisur' and vibrant stage presence made her a cultural icon among DDR youth in the 1980s.
Following the fall of the Berlin Wall, Bause transitioned into television, becoming widely known as the host of RTL's 'Bauer sucht Frau.'
To honor her 40-year career, Bause released the album 'INKA,' featuring 40 songs and an 80-page booklet, and will begin a tour in Halle, Eastern Germany, on October 22, 2025.
