Injured NASCAR Driver Chase Elliott Returns for Pivotal Martinsville Race

After breaking his leg six races ago, Chase Elliott has been medically cleared to return to racing this weekend at Martinsville Speedway.
Elliott received a waiver from NASCAR allowing him to remain eligible for the playoffs despite missing races from his injury.
To make the playoffs, Elliott will likely need a race win in one of the remaining 18 regular season events.
The pressure will be on Elliott to perform well at Martinsville, a track that will test his still-recovering leg which he uses for braking.
Elliott's team currently sits 19 points outside of a playoff position with a long road ahead to clinch a postseason berth.
