Injured 'Fauda' Star Idan Amedi Calls for Support for War Victims and Hostages' Release

Despite serious injuries, Amedi plans to return to acting, singing, and the battlefield.

Idan Amedi, a star of the Netflix drama 'Fauda', was seriously injured while serving in the Gaza Strip on January 8, 2024.
Amedi was hit with shrapnel during his reserve duty with a combat engineering unit, resulting in several injuries including broken bones and a pierced neck and spine.
Upon his release from the hospital, Amedi held a press conference where he emphasized the need for support for those injured in war, both physically and mentally.
Amedi also called for the release of hostages held by Hamas, stating that it should be a top priority for the Israeli government and military.
Despite his injuries, Amedi expressed his determination to return to acting and singing, as well as his hope to return to the battlefield.
