- Durgappa alleges he was falsely implicated in a 2014 honey trap case, dismissed from his job, and subjected to casteist abuse and threats.
- The case was filed following directions from the 71st city civil and sessions court in Bengaluru and is under investigation by the Sadashiva Nagar police station.
