Overview
- The dispositions were published on September 19 in the Diario Oficial de la Federación and took effect the following day.
- Maximum prices must be recorded in the Registro Único de Vivienda and reflected in Infonavit credit files and notarization documents, including the Carta de Instrucción Notarial.
- Price determinations must account for land, urbanization works, construction or rehabilitation, and indirect expenses such as administrative costs, studies, and project design.
- Within each development, units with the same characteristics must carry the same maximum price, with limited differences allowed by floor level and considering the housing prototype.
- Sales are structured to recover costs without seeking profit so the fund remains financially stable as it scales its low-income housing program.
