• Bhanwari Devi, known online as Bhavika, was arrested on July 13 after police intercepted a Barmer–Gujarat state transport bus at Jalore’s Siwada outpost.
• Officers recovered roughly 150 grams of mephedrone (MDMA) concealed in two small packets inside her laptop bag following a tip-off.
• Choudhary told investigators she received the consignment from Barmer-based supplier Chanani Devi and was to deliver it to destinations in Gujarat for Rs 10,000 per trip.
• Samples from the seizure have been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for detailed testing to confirm the drug’s composition.
• Investigators are interrogating her to identify accomplices and dismantle a wider trafficking network operating along key bus routes connecting Rajasthan and Gujarat.
