Infant Abandoned in Lomita Store Shopping Cart Identified

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department seeks public help to locate the pregnant mother who left the baby girl.

A baby girl, estimated to be seven to nine months old, was left in a shopping cart at a Lomita CVS store.
The pregnant woman who abandoned the child asked a store employee to call a taxi before leaving the scene.
Authorities have identified both the baby and her biological mother but are still searching for the mother.
The child is currently under the care of the Department of Children and Family Services.
