- INEP opened the waiver window on Monday, April 13, for Enem 2026, with requests accepted until 11:59 p.m. on April 24.
- Eligible applicants include current public‑school seniors, graduates of public schools or full‑scholarship private‑school students with per‑capita income up to 1.5 minimum wages, families in CadÚnico, and participants in MEC’s Pé‑de‑Meia program.
- Requests must be made on the Página do Participante using a gov.br login with personal and socioeconomic data, including NIS for CadÚnico applicants, and any required files uploaded in PDF, PNG, or JPG up to 2 MB.
- Applicants who had a 2025 waiver and missed the exam must justify the absence with official proof such as a police report, civil certificates, work or study records, or other listed documents to regain eligibility.
- INEP will release results on May 8, accept appeals from May 11 to 15, and post final decisions on May 22, and a separate Enem registration window will be announced later.
