  • INEGI reports urban adults rate their life satisfaction at 8.6 out of 10 in its latest BIARE Básico release.
  • Citizen security posted the lowest score at 6.2 out of 10, with 23.1% of adults expressing dissatisfaction.
  • Freedom to decide (9.1), housing (8.9) and family relationships (8.8) were the highest-rated personal domains.
  • Other areas trailed the overall average, including environment (7.2), the country (7.5), the city (7.7), time for leisure (8.0) and physical health (8.1).
  • Emotional balance averaged 5.4, with men at 5.7, women at 5.2, the lowest level among young women 18–29 at 4.6, and the highest among adults 60–74 at 5.7.
