El valor oficial de la UMA para el año 2026 está por confirmarse, pero ya existe una cifra aproximada; de acuerdo con el calendario institucional, estará vigente durante todo el año.

  • INEGI published the official 2026 UMA at 117.31 pesos per day, replacing the 2025 level of 113.14 pesos.
  • The update represents a 3.68% increase and will take effect on February 1, 2026.
  • INEGI also set the monthly UMA at 3,566.22 pesos and the annual figure at 42,794.64 pesos.
  • Because many statutes denominate amounts in UMA, the change will raise peso values for fines, taxes, social contributions, pensions, and credits across Mexico.
  • Preliminary reports pointing to 117.30 pesos are superseded by the official figure, guiding recalculations such as Mexico City traffic penalties expressed in UMAs.
