- Mexico’s 2024 GDP reached 33,506,847 million pesos, a real increase of 1.4% from 2023.
- The largest contributors were Mexico City (15%), State of Mexico (9.1%), Nuevo León (8.1%) and Jalisco (7.5%), followed by Guanajuato, Veracruz, Baja California, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Puebla and Sonora.
- In the year, 22 states expanded, nine contracted and one showed no significant change, with Baja California registering a flat result.
- The fastest growth occurred in Oaxaca (5.4%), Zacatecas (4.9%), Durango (4.7%), Guanajuato (4.0%) and Yucatán (3.9%).
- The steepest declines were in Campeche (-6.9%), Tabasco (-6.5%) and Quintana Roo (-3.9%), with additional drops reported in Aguascalientes (-1.9%), Nayarit (-1.4%) and Chihuahua (-1.4%).
