Overview
- From January to August 2025, 2,811 indigenous adults completed a level, including 2,508 literacies in indigenous languages, 176 primary certificates, and 127 secondary certificates.
- A total of 7,728 people are currently learning to read and write in their mother tongue through INEA’s bilingual model.
- Women account for most participants, with 4,910 of the 7,932 people served receiving instruction.
- Services span 66 indigenous languages and 110 variants, introducing Spanish as a second language with tailored materials.
- INEA operates modules across at least 18 states to deliver local instruction, with 62 learners now in primary and 142 in secondary toward SEP-recognized certification.
