Overview
- Police say the driver, Gulsher of Dhar, was heavily intoxicated; he is under arrest and has been sent for medical examination.
- Three victims — Laxmikant Soni, Kailashchandra Joshi and Mahesh Khatwase — have died, and about a dozen injured remain hospitalised, several in critical condition.
- The truck entered a restricted stretch of Aerodrome/Airport Road around 7:30–7:45 pm, struck vehicles and pedestrians over roughly 500 metres, and caught fire after dragging a motorcycle.
