Overview
- The test train ran at 5–10 kmph over nearly 5 km between Super Corridor No. 3 and MR-10 to check alignment, signalling and train performance.
- Officials reported satisfactory results and said efforts are underway to obtain RDSO and CMRS clearances by the end of October before opening the stretch.
- The trialled section is part of a 17.5 km priority corridor linking Gandhi Nagar with Radisson Square.
- Commercial service is already operating on a 6 km segment from Gandhi Nagar to SC-03 following the May 31 launch.
- Depot readiness is advancing with 48 coaches in place across 16 three-car sets and nine more sets expected, as station fit-outs progress and preparations begin for tunnel boring on the Gandhi Nagar–Airport underground section.
