IndiGo to Launch Daily DelhiGuangzhou Flights on Nov. 10 as India–China Air Links Restart

Indian and Chinese officials cast the return of direct services as a step toward normalised ties.

Overview

  • IndiGo scheduled a new daily DelhiGuangzhou route from November 10, with tickets on sale and departures at 21:45 from Delhi and returns at 05:50 from Guangzhou.
  • The service will use Airbus A320 aircraft, and the airline says it is among the first to restart operations on the India–China corridor.
  • India’s Ministry of External Affairs confirmed earlier this month that direct flights are resuming, describing the move as part of a broader normalisation trend.
  • A spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy acknowledged the resumption of flights, reinforcing signals of renewed engagement.
  • IndiGo is expanding regional links with daily KolkataGuangzhou flights from October 26 and daily DelhiHanoi flights from December 20.
