- IndiGo confirmed six weekly nonstops to Athens from early January 2026, split three each from Delhi and Mumbai, subject to regulatory approvals and the first A321XLR arriving by year-end.
- The A321XLR will be India’s first in service and will make IndiGo the only Indian airline offering direct India–Greece flights.
- Mumbai–Copenhagen launches October 8, 2025 with thrice-weekly Boeing 787-9 services operated on a wet/damp lease from Norse Atlantic Airways, becoming IndiGo’s 44th international destination.
- IndiGo’s long-haul product features two cabins including 12 ‘IndiGoStretch’ business seats and 183 economy on the A321XLR, plus complimentary hot meals and in-flight entertainment on Europe routes.
- IndiGo announced a codeshare MoU with AEGEAN, pending approvals, as AEGEAN plans its own A321XLR Athens–Delhi and Athens–Mumbai services from spring 2026 and SAS targets Copenhagen–Mumbai from June 2026.
