Overview
- IndiGo will begin daily direct flights to London Heathrow on October 26 using five Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners damp-leased from Norse Atlantic Airways
- The airline will introduce its ‘IndiGoStretch’ business-class cabin on Singapore–Delhi/Mumbai routes from August 9 and on Delhi–Dubai and Mumbai–Dubai services from August 30 and September 3, respectively
- It has converted 30 Airbus A350 purchase rights into firm orders, taking its wide-body fleet commitment to 60 aircraft
- The carrier is set to launch operations from the new Navi Mumbai International Airport with more than 18 daily departures to over 15 cities and has partnered with BIAL to develop MRO facilities
- IndiGo plans to launch long-haul flights to Copenhagen, Athens, Siem Reap and four Central Asian destinations during the 2025-26 fiscal year
