  • Flight 6E-1403 left Kochi at about 11:10 pm Friday and returned at roughly 1:44 am Saturday after more than two hours in the air.
  • More than 180 passengers and six crew members landed safely back in Kochi.
  • A replacement aircraft departed for Abu Dhabi around 3:30 am, operated by a fresh crew as the original team timed out.
  • Flightradar24 data shows the affected flight was operated by an Airbus A320neo.
  • IndiGo had not issued an official statement on the incident, and a separate Nagpur–Kolkata flight returned on September 2 after a confirmed bird strike.
