- On July 20, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu flagged off IndiGo’s maiden services from Hindon Airport, marking the carrier’s arrival at the NCR-based terminal
- Services now link Hindon to Bengaluru, Kolkata, Varanasi, Goa, Patna, Indore, Chennai, Mumbai and Ahmedabad
- IndiGo schedules nearly 70 weekly departures from Hindon, highlighted by a daily Kolkata flight to enhance regional point-to-point connectivity
- Developed in 2019 through a ₹50 crore UDAN investment in partnership with the Indian Air Force, Hindon’s civil enclave has seen annual flyers jump from about 8,000 to over 80,000
