  • Boxers earned their places by winning gold or silver at the 6th U-17 National Boxing Championships across designated Asian Youth Games and other weight categories.
  • The training camp runs from August 17 to 25 in Urumqi, with tournament bouts scheduled from August 26 to 29 in Urumqi and Yili.
  • U-17 competitors will fight in 13 weight classes ranging from 46kg to over 80kg.
  • This deployment follows India’s strong showing earlier this year, where junior boxers claimed 43 medals to finish second at the Asian U15 and U17 Championships.
