India’s October GST Collections Reach Rs 1.96 Lakh Crore, Second-Highest on Record

Officials attribute the rise to festive demand.

  • Industrial and service-heavy states including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Haryana together contributed over 40% of total revenue, according to official data.
