India's NCB Targets Global Drug Kingpin Haji Salim in Major Crackdown

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of India has launched Operation Sagar Manthan to dismantle the drug cartel led by Haji Salim, known as the 'Lord of Drugs'.
Authorities have seized nearly 4,000 kilograms of illicit drugs linked to Salim's network, with several Pakistani nationals arrested in connection with the operation.
Haji Salim's syndicate is suspected of operating a vast drug pipeline across multiple countries, including India, Pakistan, Mauritius, and Sri Lanka.
Salim's network is believed to be involved in narco-terrorism, funding terror operations across borders and destabilizing the region.
International law enforcement agencies, including those from the US, Malaysia, and Afghanistan, are collaborating in the effort to capture Salim, who remains at large.
