India’s Mutual Fund AUM Tops ₹74 Lakh Crore as June Sees Record Hybrid Inflows

  • Total assets under management jumped to ₹74.41 lakh crore by end-June, marking a 13.2% quarter-on-quarter rise and a 22% increase year-on-year
  • Hybrid schemes drew a record ₹23,223 crore of net inflows, powered by arbitrage funds (₹15,585 crore), multi-asset allocation (₹3,210 crore) and balanced advantage funds (₹1,886 crore)
  • Equity-oriented funds attracted ₹23,587 crore in June, a 24% gain from May driven by flexi-cap, small-cap and mid-cap segments
  • Monthly SIP contributions reached an all-time high of ₹27,269 crore, up 28% year-on-year with 9.19 crore active accounts
  • Liquid funds saw ₹25,196 crore in quarter-end redemptions and debt schemes recorded moderate outflows of ₹1,711 crore
