• India leads the standings in Shymkent with 26 medals, including 14 gold, six silver and six bronze.
• The junior rifle trio of Abhinav Shaw, Naraen Pranav and Himanshu set an Asian and junior world qualification record of 1890.1 to secure team gold.
• Shaw also took the junior 10m air rifle individual title, edging Korea’s Lee Hyunseo by 0.1 in a tight final.
• Mansi Raghuwanshi won junior women’s skeet with 53/60 as compatriot Yashasvi Rathore claimed silver with 52 and Agrima Kanwar finished sixth.
• In junior men’s skeet, Harmehar Singh Lally and Jyotiraditya Singh Sisodia earned silver and bronze and, with Atul Singh Rajawat, won team gold at 338, while India also captured the senior men’s 10m air rifle team title as Kazakhstan’s Islam Satpayev claimed the individual crown ahead of China’s Lu Dingke and Korea’s Park Haejun.
