- Frozen shrimp earned about $5.18 billion, contributing 43.67% of export volume and 69.46% of foreign-exchange earnings.
- The United States was the top buyer by value at about $2.71 billion, while China purchased roughly $1.27–$1.28 billion and led by quantity.
- Vizag and JNPT were the leading ports for seafood shipments, and frozen fish and frozen squid fetched $622.6 million and $367.68 million respectively.
