Overview
- Engineering goods exports grew 2.93% year on year to $10.11 billion in September, marking a fourth consecutive monthly increase, EEPC data showed.
- Shipments to the United States fell about 9–9.4% to roughly $1.4–$1.45 billion in September under Section 232 tariff pressures.
- EEPC reported that steel and aluminium exports to the US grew in September, with April–September iron and steel exports to the US up 77% to $394 million even as some industrial machinery categories weakened.
- Exports to Germany, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Italy rose 18–45%, sales to China increased 14.4% to $302.21 million, while shipments to the UAE declined 5.3% to $636.86 million.
