Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted and celebrated the teams at his residence, sharing a video of a bullet chess match between R Praggnanandhaa and Arjun Erigaisi.
The men's team, featuring D Gukesh, R Praggnanandhaa, Arjun Erigaisi, Vidit Gujrathi, and Pentala Harikrishna, defeated Slovenia in the final round.
The women's team, including Harika Dronavalli, R Vaishali, Divya Deshmukh, Vantika Agarwal, and Tania Sachdev, triumphed over Azerbaijan.
