India's 40-Member Boxing Team Arrives in Bangkok for Asian U19 and U22 Championships
Led by three-time Asian champion Vishvanath Suresh, the squad will contest ten weight divisions under Olympic-style rules against 396 boxers from 26 nations

- The championships run from July 30 to August 12 at Bangkok’s Indoor Stadium Huamark.
- The event features U19 (born 2007–08) and U22 (born 2004–06) brackets with both men and women competing.
- Men will fight in classes ranging from 47 kg–50 kg to +90 kg while women compete between 45 kg–48 kg and +80 kg across both age divisions.
- The Indian roster combines experience and youth with three-time Asian champion Vishvanath Suresh joined by national medallists Sagar, Preet Malik and Khelo India gold-medallist Suman Kumari.
