A booming stock market and investor enthusiasm have propelled India's wealthiest to unprecedented heights.

The collective wealth of India's 100 richest individuals has reached $1.1 trillion, marking a 40% increase from last year.
Mukesh Ambani leads the list with a net worth of $119.5 billion, followed by Gautam Adani at $116 billion.
Savitri Jindal, the richest woman in India, has moved up to third place with a net worth of $43.7 billion.
Four newcomers joined the list, including Mahima Datla of Biological E and B. Partha Saradhi Reddy of Hetero Labs.
The cutoff to make the list increased to $3.3 billion, resulting in 11 individuals dropping off the list from last year.
