Indiana fires offensive coordinator Walt Bell, replaces him with Rod Carey

Indiana fired offensive coordinator Walt Bell after recent poor offensive performance.
Former Northern Illinois and Temple head coach Rod Carey will take over as offensive coordinator.
Head coach Tom Allen stated the program needed a new direction on offense.
Indiana's offense currently ranks 113th nationally in scoring.
The move comes after a 44-17 loss to Maryland on October 1.
