A 22-year-old MTech student from India was killed while intervening in a fight among fellow students over rent issues in Melbourne.

Navjeet Sandhu, the deceased, was attacked when he tried to mediate a confrontation between his friends.
The altercation occurred in Ormond, Melbourne, leading to one fatality and serious injuries to another student.
Victoria Police have launched a manhunt for two suspects, identified as Abhijeet and Robin Gartan, both of Indian descent.
Authorities are circulating images and seeking information on a stolen white Toyota Camry used by the suspects.
The Indian government has been urged to assist in repatriating Sandhu's body to his family in India.
