Indian Railways Updates Vande Bharat: Navsari Stop Added, MumbaiMadgaon Coaches Doubled for Ganesh Dates

Overview

  • Western Railway revised the Mumbai Central–Gandhinagar Vande Bharat schedule to include a new halt at Navsari, taking total stops to eight.
  • Train 20901 departs Mumbai Central at 06:00 and reaches Gandhinagar Capital at 12:25, while 20902 leaves at 14:05 and arrives in Mumbai at 20:30.
  • The Mumbai–Gandhinagar service runs six days a week except Wednesday, covers 521 km in 6 hours 30 minutes, uses a 20‑coach rake, and is priced at Rs 1,285 (AC Chair Car) and Rs 2,465 (Executive).
  • Central Railway will run the Mumbai CSMTMadgaon Vande Bharat with 16 coaches on select dates: 22229 on August 25, 27, 29 and 22230 on August 26, 28, 30.
  • The MumbaiMadgaon train covers 765 km in 10 hours 35 minutes with stops at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Khed, Ratnagiri, Kankavali and Thivim, operating three days a week with fares of Rs 1,835 (AC Chair Car) and Rs 3,375 (Executive).
