Overview
- Central Railway will run 296 of the trips, with Western Railway operating 56, South Western 22 and Konkan Railway 6, according to the ministry’s release.
- Services began on August 11 and will scale up through the festival period from August 27 to September 6.
- Central Railway has published multiple Mumbai-origin specials, including daily and weekly LTT/CSMT services to Sawantwadi Road and Madgaon with designated train numbers and halts.
- South Western Railway announced a Bengaluru–Madgaon special (Train 06569/06570) on August 26–27 with intermediate stops through coastal Karnataka including Karwar and Udupi.
- Routes across the Konkan corridor will serve key stations such as Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi and Surathkal, with full schedules and reservations available on IRCTC, the RailOne app and PRS counters.
