Overview

• Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw confirmed the festive plan after consultations with Bihar NDA leaders to match services with projected demand.
• An experimental Round Trip Package offers a 20% rebate on the return leg for the same passengers booking onward travel between October 13–26 and return travel between November 17–December 1.
• Four new Amrit Bharat services were announced on Delhi–Gaya, Saharsa–Amritsar, Chhapra–Delhi and Muzaffarpur–Hyderabad corridors for general-class connectivity.
• A new Vande Bharat will run between Purnia and Patna, and a Buddha Circuit train will link key sites including Vaishali, Hajipur, Patliputra, Nalanda, Rajgir, Gaya and Koderma.
