- From July 1, only IRCTC users who have linked their Aadhaar will be eligible to book Tatkal tickets through the website and mobile app.
- From July 15, all Tatkal reservations—whether online, at PRS counters, or through authorized agents—will require a one-time password tied to users’ Aadhaar number.
- Authorized ticketing agents will be blocked from placing requests for the first 30 minutes after Tatkal bookings open each day.
- Passengers should link their Aadhaar to their IRCTC accounts before July 1 to avoid last-minute booking failures.
