Overview
- Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw flagged off the inaugural one-way special service on July 19 in the presence of Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy.
- Regular daily operations of trains 17605/17606 will begin with departures from Kacheguda on July 20 at 11:30 pm and returns from Bhagat Ki Kothi on July 22 at 10:30 pm.
- Covering 1,953 km in about 44 hours, the route includes 29 stops through Nizamabad, Nanded, Akola, Khandwa, Itarsi, Ujjain and Ajmer among others.
- The 22-coach train features two AC two-tier, seven AC three-tier, seven sleeper, four second-class unreserved coaches and two generator cars.
- South Central Railway predicts the daily connection will boost tourism, trade and pilgrimage while serving Rajasthani residents in Telangana and travelers across central and western India.
