Overview
- Central Railway has finalized 250 special trains from CSMT, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Pune and Diva to serve the Konkan route
- Western Railway will operate five special services totalling 44 trips linking Mumbai and Gujarat with Konkan destinations including Ratnagiri and Sawantwadi Road
- Services will halt at strategic stations such as Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri and Kankavali en route to coastal festival sites
- Bookings opened July 23 for Western Railway and July 24 for Central Railway via the IRCTC website, UTS app and computerized counters
- Passengers are advised to confirm schedules on enquiry.indianrail.gov.in or the NTES app and secure reservations early due to high demand
